Footgolf is a new sport that combines football and golf.

Play 9 or 18 holes on golf course with Using No. 5 ball of football instead of golf ball.

Footgolf tournament with basic rules played today around the world was organized in the Netherlands in 2008. And in 2012 the first Footgolf World Cup was held in Hungary by FIFG. In January 2016 the second Footgolf World Cup was held in Argentina and 230 players from 26 FIFG member countries participated in the global event.

Today, played more than 30 countries in Europe and the United States mainly and the popularity spread rapidly globally.

In Japan various events such as the JFGA tournament sponsored by the Japan Footgolf Association, local leagues and "Enjoy Cup" for beginners, etc. are held.
